WMN is seeking a highly motivated producer to help with the production of a daily women’s sports podcast.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Provide hands-on editorial direction for a daily women’s sports podcast
Write prep documents, interview questions and scripts
Identify guests and pitch episode topics
Develop, report, sound design, engineer, and edit interview-style podcast episodes
Provide regular feedback on show and coaching for host(s)
Ensure show meets our high journalistic and creative standards
Work with WMN & external marketing teams on show engagement and marketing, as needed
Work a Sunday-Thursday schedule
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in audio production
A track record of excellence in audio journalism
Experience managing production teams and working across departments
Organized and entrepreneurial
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to adhere to deadlines
Collaborative and creative thinker
Interest in occasionally appearing on mic
Committed to uplifting underrepresented voices in media
Understanding of women’s sports landscape

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Prospect leads and build strong pipeline of new sponsorship clients for WMN
Proactively leverage industry and market knowledge/research/contacts to identify new opportunities and close deals
Initiate meetings and continually build relationships with prospective brands, agencies and partners on an ongoing basis
Achieve quarterly and annual business development/sales goals
Work closely with Partnerships team to execute strategic sales planning & initiatives
Proactively communicate with internal WMN teams & clients on campaign deliverables
Communicate often with accounting team to maintain streamlined invoicing and payment processes
Work in CRM and project management software to create sales reports and ad schedules
Work with team to price and negotiate deal terms
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
2+ years of digital, podcast ad sales, media planning/buying, agency and/or other relevant experience
Exceptional attention to detail in emails, presentations, campaign operations
Strong entrepreneurial spirit who desires to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced startup environment
Proactively finds solutions by being resourceful, innovative, and strategic, and is capable of thriving in autonomous and ambiguous situations
Track record of successfully generating leads and achieving sales goals
Supportive team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to maintain relationships internally and externally
Must have the ability to learn new software programs such as ad order entry and CRM software
Experience designing creative presentations and proposals, preferably in Keynote
Willingness to travel as needed

Salary range: $65 - 85K commensurate with experience + commission on deals

We are looking for a skilled video producer to work with us to make branded, companion, and social video content across a variety of platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and more).
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Work alongside our audio production team to execute both full-length, video-first podcast episodes and promotional video content formatted for various social platforms
Edit branded content with multiple deliverables for sponsors
Produce and edit compelling & impactful social video content on a regular basis
Edit multiple creative assignments from post-production through distribution while managing assigned project workflow and deadlines
Contribute to team brainstorming sessions on video and social strategies. Pitch creative ideas on how to edit previous and incoming footage
Develop and work with various graphic templates to insert them into videos seamlessly
Communicate with the team to maximize resources and optimize video outputs
Collaborate with the team in identifying highly marketable moments
Have an eye out for what is trending and apply those to the video outputs/deliverables
Coordinate with video studios and third-party production companies as needed to ensure optimal video recording
Qualifications and Preferred Requirements:
3+ years experience in content production. Strong understanding of the technicalities of executing video content for social platforms (sequence settings, keyframing, captioning graphics, etc).
Strong storytelling & narrative skills in video and the digital media space.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, and the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
Able to work a full-frame DSLR, manual settings, and audio monitoring.
Interest in the audio industry.
Familiarity with best practices for video creation on different platforms.
Ability to handle multiple edits at a time under tight turn-around times.
Experience creating video content for social platforms, as well as filming and strategizing creative in fast-paced environments.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Excellent organizational and client service skills. Experience with an agency or branded content production is a plus.
Understanding of audio production or interest in learning more about audio-first production is a plus.

Work with WMN marketing team on creative strategies to develop and grow online audiences, and ensure a cohesive voice across all WMN and partner platforms
Draft amplification content for WMN shows, guests, brand studio clients, and hosts
Assist with creative, design, and concept development
Design and implement technical side of marketing strategies, including interfacing with Simplecast, Mailchimp and Squarespace
Collate, synthesize, and analyze relevant quantitative & qualitative data to help WMN craft and optimize its marketing and business development strategy
Attend meetings with Head of Strategy and Head of Development and support in follow-up, related research, and proposals
Interface with WMN clients, partners, and potential sponsors and support team in outbound communication
Research and prioritize potential funder and grant opportunities
Stay up to date on innovations and standouts in the podcast industry / women in politics space
Coordinate WMN & partner events
Other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
+3 years working in a business development, marketing, or content strategy role
Appreciation and experience with data-driven tracking systems and measurement concepts
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability working across a diverse portfolio of departments and projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must have the ability to generate reports, business correspondence, and presentations
Desire to work in a demanding, rigorous, yet highly rewarding, start up environment with opportunities for leadership
